On the first day of the course, each of us introduced ourselves, thus getting to know the trainer who held the course, Mrs Angela Nasulea, originally from Romania, and also our course colleagues, the four teachers from Turkey: Melike Akar - English teacher, Gamze Kilic - ICT teacher, Nurettin Unal - English teacher and Ahmet - Mathematics teacher. After a brief presentation of our highschool, our country and the Romanian education system, we learned about our Turkish colleagues that they come from Isparta, the capital city of the province of the same name, located in the south-western part of Turkey, a province famous for growing rose, rose oil products and carpets. On this day, different activities were organized to introduce us to the topic bullying, in general, and cyberbullying, in particular. Different types of (cyber)bullying, how and why young people use the internet and social networks and how they can become tools for cyberbullying were discussed. Conclusions were drawn about the impact of cyberbullying on the emotional, mental and even physical health of those who are bullied. At the end of the working session, we visited Oslo City Hall. |

Day 2 14th May 2024 |
|||||
![]() |
On the second day, the debates focused on cyberbullying prevention measures, how to recognize cyberbullying, safety measures in the classroom and outside the classroom. As a working strategy we used role play, where the "victim" and the "bully" had to invent different (cyber)bullying situations that had to be stopped by finding the most appropriate ways to support the "victim" or to counsel the "bully". At the end of these activities, we visited a school in Voyenenga, a suburb of Oslo, where we had the opportunity to learn more about the Norwegian education system, one of the best in the world. |
||||
Day 3 15th May 2024 |
|||||

On the third day, the working session was centered on debating strategies to cope with real cyberbullying situations, but it was also a day of intercultural experience sharing with Turkish colleagues traditional food, presenting the specific customs of the area we come from or listening to Romanian or traditional Turkish folk music. After the activities, together with the trainer and Turkish colleagues, we visited an architecture and building consultancy company, NorConsult. This company is responsible, among other things, for the design and architecture of some schools and we were impressed by the different designs from the traditional ones which have as a basic principle the creation of spaces inside or outside the school that stimulate learning and the well-being of the students and their teachers. |

Day 4 16th May 2024 |
|||||
![]() |
On the fourth day of the course, the activities were carried out face-to-face or in teams and had the following topics of debate: how to recognize aggressive behaviour, about aggression on the Internet, on social networks or on messaging platforms, about how parents, teachers and students should stand together against this phenomenon, about the risks that cyberbullying has on both victims and the aggressive ones in the online environment. |
||||
Day 5 17th May 2024 |
|||||
![]() |
On the last day of the course, we were encouraged to present real stories from our lives or our community's life showing examples of empathy or lack of empathy or to present situations where students needed support from the school in cyberbullying situations. A final evaluation took place, final conclusions were drawn, feedback forms were filled in and, of course, we were given our certificates of attendance in the course. After class, on 17th May, we had the unique experience of witnessing the students’ parade on the occasion of the Norwegian National Day, also known as Constitution Day. The parade was greeted by the royal family, who waved to the crowd from the balcony of the Royal Palace. | ||||
Day 6 18th May 2024 |

Norway is not exactly a place that
many people look forward to going to. At least not very many people I have
met. However, when someone you meet says they have been to Norway, everyone
suddenly becomes interested. Thanks to the course "Stop Cyberbullying"
organized in the framework of the Erasmus+ project in the Norwegian capital
between 12th and 19th May this year, we had the opportunity not only to get
to know the city but also to experience how Norwegians celebrate one of the
most important national holidays, Constitution Day on 17th May. |

The study modules in the course covered a variety of learning topics including: the Portuguese education system and GCDE (Globally Competent and Development Education) policies; school culture of sustainability and the sustainable development goals; climate change education in schools; teaching sustainable development and climate change; key conceptual dimensions of education for sustainable development; school climate action plan; development and climate change in all school subjects; small projects can have big impacts; whole-school approaches to climate action ("Everyone matters, everyone acts!"); Eco principles for a Green School; teachers and students creativity to combat climate change; global days of action and how to influence our well-being and that of the Earth. |
||||
Day 3 10th April 2023 |
|||||
![]() |
On the third day of the course, the activities took place at the Calouste Gulbenkian Art Museum where we worked in teams to identify climate change actions that we could have undertaken with the students. We turned this visit into an activity about climate action and suggested activities aimed at developing students' cognitive, socio-emotional or behavioural skills related to climate action. Education about sustainable development is essential for understanding environmental, economic and social issues, and for promoting responsible and sustainable actions to protect the planet and ensure the well-being of future generations. The objectives of education for sustainable development include raising awareness of global issues, understanding the interconnections between social, economic and environmental aspects, promoting critical thinking and innovative solutions, developing the skills needed to act responsibly and contribute to building a sustainable future, and mobilizing communities and society as a whole to take concrete action towards achieving the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations. The deadline set by the United Nations for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals is 2030. It is known as the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. |

At the end of the training program, we were evaluated by the Portuguese trainers through theoretical questionnaires and practical tests, which aimed to observe the level of knowledge acquisition, training of skills and competences targeted in the project, and then we received a European certificate of attendance, which was awarded in a festive setting. Taking this refresher course was a very valuable and enriching experience, it provided us with unique opportunities for learning, development and intercultural interaction and helped us to be better prepared to teach students about the importance and complexity of climate change and inspire them to become involved and responsible citizens in protecting the environment. |

For a tourist, Lisbon has proven to be
a cosmopolitan, clean, cosmopolitan city with a fascinating history, diverse
architecture, fairy tale streets and relaxed people around you. You will be
surprised by the Alfama Quarter - still criss-crossed by the famous
Remodelado trams from the 1930s; the Belem Quarter - with the Jeronimos
Monastery, the Belem Tower, the Museum of Discoveries, and in the 15th
century, the main port from where Portugal's great explorers set out to
discover the world; The Baixa neighbourhood - the first area of Lisbon to be
built according to rigorous urban plans, following the great earthquake of
1755, with the Praca do Comercio and the Rua Augusta Arch, a grandiose
gateway marking the entrance/exit to this place. |

The school principal prof.
Lidia Mihaela Neculăeș, the deputy principal prof. Ph.D. Iulian Ghercă and
teacher Alina Cășuneanu, member of the board of directors participated in
the course organized by EduFuture, in Finland and Estonia between 14th and
20th May. The main objectives of the course were the presentation of the two countries education systems, the exchange of best practices on the integration of children from vulnerable groups in order to ensure educational equity, the visit of some educational institutions and the presentation of some leadership solutions. The course was challenging and intense, and the Finnish education system proves that when the whole social system works, the education system is also efficient and functional. The Finnish education system has RESPONSIBILITY and TRUST as its main mottos. These principles are implemented throughout society and are assumed by all members of the community. All relevant factors: school, family, local authority, local community form a team that puts the wellbeing of each pupil first, with the emphasis on helping them to identify their personal abilities and prepare for life. All schools have equal status, there is no competition between them and everyone is confident that everyone trusts that everyone performs as well as possible the tasks for which they are paid. Other important principles aim at COOPERATION and not competition, the emphasis on skills acquisition and not on ranking and evaluation. The emphasis is on preparation for life. Pupils have weekly cooking activities in small kitchens located in the school, tailoring, familiarization with the main tools and practical instruments etc. The school is a friendly place where everyone spends quality time together, where pupils and teachers have a free meal, together with all the other materials necessary for teaching. All schools have plenty of spaces where students can relax. They study few subjects and the content is accessible. Any progress is appreciated (A little is enough!), no pupil is left behind. The only national examination is equivalent to the baccalaureate and consists of four written tests, the same for all pupils. Particular emphasis has been placed on teacher training. It is very difficult to become a teacher in Finland (only 10% of those who want to become teachers become teachers) because the universities have a lot of responsibility, because once they become teachers, they do not take any exams and they have a lot of freedom. There are no school inspections. Salaries are very motivating (teachers have more than 3900 euros and principals more than 6000 euros) and the social status of teachers is respected in society. In conclusion, the factors that have led to the success of this system are: RESPONSIBILITY, TRUST, COOPERATION, non-involvement of politics in the life of the school, legislative stability, financial support of the education system and motivating salaries. |
